Origin
Twigby has stuffed every hollow log in Leafmarket with acorns, each one counted and kept under a careful eye. Twigby wakes up asking where the river ends and who keeps the sky, and worries that any acorn left unwatched might roll away forever. Someday Twigby hopes to trade the whole hoard for a ticket past the last hill to see the wide world.
