Origin
Elmburr counts every acorn each night and writes the total in a neat ledger, because a greedy heart is never satisfied with a rough guess. Elmburr is afraid of being alone, so the acorns also serve as company, each one a friend to talk to in the quiet hours. Elmburr dreams of a warm home of their own, with a door that opens onto a crowd of cheerful neighbours.
