Origin

Fernseed keeps a towering stash of acorns beneath a leaf stall and scowls at anyone who comes too close. The dark makes them jumpy, so they hang a glowing moss lantern above their hoard every evening. Deep down, Fernseed longs to see the world, and every acorn they save is another bit of fare for the journey.
