Origin
Ferndale grew up shouting over the stalls of Leafmarket and learned to guess prices before anyone named them. One grey afternoon a single drizzle sent them fleeing under a toadstool, and they have never forgotten the shame of it. Ferndale still dreams of a small, dry home of their own, with a roof that never leaks.
