A sly fisher who keeps his hooks and secrets close, forever counting what he might lose.
Today
sly
Sly Clodale spent the sunny Rootcellar morning fishing, clutching every pebble tightly so nothing could slip away.

Origin
Clodale hides every catch in a hollow log and tells no one where it is. Nobody expects a Mossling who fishes this quietly to be so sly, but Clodale would trade a whole river for a fortune in gold. Every night he counts his treasures twice, terrified that one small coin might slip away.
