Origin
Hobleaf keeps a notebook of verses tucked beneath the roots and shares them with no one but the mushrooms. Sly about it, Hobleaf slips away whenever anyone draws near, and bolts for shelter the moment a drop of rain falls. Hobleaf dreams of travelling beyond the Rootcellar to write poems about every river, mountain and sky in the world.
