Quilnip spent the drizzly Mistmarsh morning napping under a fern, dreaming of owls it would never meet.

Origin

Quilnip collapses into naps at the edge of the Mistmarsh with a flourish, then disappears entirely before anyone can finish a sentence. Owls send Quilnip diving into the reeds, which is how the marsh learned to keep a secret. Quilnip dreams of a cozy home of their own where the fog stays outside and the rhymes stay inside.
