Origin
Basilroot has stood by the same Leafmarket stall for years, polishing rocks and singing a rhyme for every one. Basilroot is fiercely loyal to friends and traders alike, and will defend a customer's pebble with their life. Owls are the one thing Basilroot cannot face, and their dream is to see the world beyond Greenhollow, where no owl has ever perched on a stall.
